Nico@Jasper's serves authentic Italian cuisine with genuine recipes and regional specialities from Basilicata and Southern Italy.
Nico was born and grew up in a town called Maratea, located on the coast of the Basilicata region of Southern Italy, near the Tyrrhenian Sea. This is where his mum and dad ran a hotel and restaurant, so he was influenced from an early age.
Nico grew up with a passion for food. His father sent him to a hoteliery school where he graduated with a diploma. He then travelled around Italy and Europe, experiencing a variety of different cultures, including their cooking.
After working in Covent Garden, London, for a few years, Nico decided to come to the North of England and he opened a restaurant in Warrington.
Since November 1991 all Nico's experience and passion has been devoted to the success of his restaurant in Warrington. By employing Italian staff who shared his passion for both the food and the Italian lifestyle, Nico was able to offer his guests the best Italian cusine, served with the utmost professionalism, combined with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Now Nico is bringing his own unique brand of Italian hospitality to Stockton Heath. In the evenings the café will be transformed into Nico's Southern Italian Restaurant.
